# Clients

> A customer of yours. Assign a worker to a client and that client gets its own copy, with its own memory and nothing of any other client's.

Ergoly Docs › Clients. Web: https://www.ergoly.ai/docs/clients · Index: https://www.ergoly.ai/docs/llms.txt

A **client** is a company you work for. On its own, a client in Ergoly is a record: a name, a website, a logo. It starts doing something when you assign a worker to it. From then on there is a copy of that worker for that client, and every channel and person you link to the client reaches that copy.

The **Clients** page lists them with tabs for Active, Inactive and Archived, and each client's page has four tabs: **Overview** (the About text, details, and Channels & People), **Workers**, **Tasks**, and **Connections**.

- [Assigning a worker](https://www.ergoly.ai/docs/clients/assigning-a-worker): What it creates, and the channels and people that go with it.
- [Client separation](https://www.ergoly.ai/docs/clients/separation): What a client's worker can and cannot see.
- [Internal client channels](https://www.ergoly.ai/docs/clients/internal-channels): Backstage before the client channel.
