# Connections

> The apps, keys and tool servers your company has connected, and who may use each one.

A **connection** is an app your workers can use: a CRM you signed in to, an API you pasted a key for, a tool server at a URL. Every connection is **placed**: with the whole company, one worker, one client, or one worker for one client. Placement is the whole of who may use it. The **Connections** page lists them by category, with a status and an **Actions** menu (Open, Rename, Reconnect, Remove) on each.
