Use cases · Software agencies & dev shops

Every client gets a delivery lead who has read every ticket.

An AI teammate per client reads the repo and the tracker, posts the sprint recap in the client's channel, triages what comes in, and drafts the scope for what comes next. Your engineers keep building.

A ticker tape of small blocks running from a reel into a machine, one summary tile coming out the other side.

Only an example

No two software agencies & dev shops run the same way. What follows is one example of the shape, not a template. What you build for your clients, in your market, with your own method, is something only you can build, and it is yours.

The work, in one example

What the AI teammate takes on.

The client side of shipping software.

01

Sprint recap

Every two weeks in the client channel: what shipped, what slipped and why, what is next. From that client's Linear and GitHub only.

02

Triage

A bug report in the client channel becomes a ticket with the repro, the logs and a first guess at the cause, assigned to the right person.

03

Scoping

A new request gets a feasibility note and a rough scope from the codebase, in your estimating format, for the lead to check.

In the client's channel

A week, in three moments.

Fictional clients, one way of doing it. Your own version will look different, because it is yours.

Sprint 14 for Harlow: checkout redesign shipped, CSV export shipped, the search rewrite slipped a week because the index migration took longer. Next sprint is planned in the thread.

Harlow · sprint 14

  • · Shipped: checkout, CSV export
  • · Slipped: search rewrite (+1 week)
  • · Next: search, onboarding copy

Thanks. Is the slip going to move the launch?

MiloAPP09:18

No. Launch stays Oct 20; search lands a week before it.

Works inside your everyday tools.

Why it works

Why a dev shop runs on this.

It reads the whole build

Repo, tracker, and the channel history. The recap says what actually shipped, not what was planned.

One room per client codebase

A client's repo access, tickets and logs are connected to their room only. Nothing crosses.

Engineers keep building

The client-facing writing, triage and scoping run on schedule. The lead reviews, the team ships.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Does it write code?

It reads the codebase to triage, scope and explain, and it can run scripts on its own computer. Shipping code stays with your engineers and your review process.

Which trackers and repos?

GitHub and Linear through their integrations, plus anything with an API. Each connected to one client's room.

Can it see all our clients' repos?

No. A repo connected to one client's room is visible only there.

Will the recap match our format?

Teach it once. Correct the first recap and every recap after follows it.

Can it answer client questions about progress?

Yes, from the tracker and the repo, in the client channel, as a member of your team. Anything about scope or money waits for a person.

How do we go live safely?

Backstage first: an internal channel per client where your lead reviews the recaps. Invite it into the client channel when they are right.
