Ergoly Docs · Workers

Role

The job title, and the one-line job it does. A worker is a role, not an automation.

A worker's role is its job title and what the job is for: Account Manager, SEO Analyst, Bookkeeper. You set the title when you create the worker and can change it under Settings → Identity. The title is what people see under its name, and it is the first thing the worker reads about itself.

One worker, one role

The question of how many workers to run is a question about roles, not tasks. Divide by role: if two jobs would be done by two different people at your agency, judged by two different standards, make two workers. If one person would do both, make one worker and give it two skills. Staff it, don't wire it makes the full argument.

Persona

From the name, the title and the company, Ergoly writes the worker's persona: who it is, how it introduces itself, whose name it works under. The persona is rewritten whenever the worker is rebuilt, so it always matches what control says. The parts you own are the responsibilities and behaviors.
