Add a client and a channel

Tell the AI Admin who the client is, and which Slack channel is theirs. From then on, the worker answers there as your agency.

A worker on its own works for your team. To put it in front of a client, you need a client in Ergoly and a Slack channel that belongs to that client. The AI Admin does both from a message.

Your agency
Ada

Add Acme as a client and put Nora in #acme. Daniel Reyes is their contact.

AdaAPP09:15

I'll create the client Acme, assign Nora to it, set #acme as Acme's channel, and bind Daniel Reyes to Acme so his DMs with Nora go to Acme. Nora will join #acme itself. OK?

Sam09:18

OK.

AdaAPP09:23

Done. Acme is live in #acme. Nora is there now, and only sees Acme's world when it is working for Acme.

What just happened

Three things. A client called Acme now exists. Nora has a separate copy for Acme, with Acme's memory and nothing else. And #acme is mapped to Acme, so a message there always reaches that copy.

Or invite the worker yourself

You can also invite a worker to a channel in Slack, the way you would invite a person. It asks you, and only you, what the channel is for. See When a worker joins a channel.
